The Double Bind by Chris Bohjalian
The ending was amazing–I never saw it coming. If you haven’t already done so, read The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald first.
Fragile Beasts by Tawni O’Dell
If you’re looking for something different–this is the book. I could not imagine taking in two teenage boys at my age, let alone at 70 something!
Amandine by Marlena de Blasi
Mixed feelings. The first part was fast-paced and interesting, started to drag in the middle, and I just felt disengaged from it by the end.
61 Hours by Lee Child
One of the most suspenseful Reacher novels–something is counting down, but you don’t know what. With a cliff-hanger at the end.
The Shadow of Your Smile by Mary Higgins Clark
The author raises some interesting points concerning the natural conflict between faith and science.
Therapy by Sebastian Fitzer
Another one of those books where you don’t know who the insane really are!
